Tadaima

Chicken and leek skewer.
How is everyone handling the flood crisis, hope you're all staying safe? I have actually had this post written for a while now but I didn't want to put it up without some good pictures to go with the walls of text. This restaurant is actually a rather recent find of mine. I've visited 2 restaurants in the "Eight" building in Thonglor many times before (Will write about them soon) but this one is a new edition to the area's lineup. A simple casual Japanese restaurant that offers nice food for a low price. They are currently offering ALL their dishes for a mere 88 baht each, in addition you get a free dish for every three that you offer. Although I believe this may have just been a limited time offer, the staff will be able to fill you in on the details.

After thoughts: Honmono Sushi

One of the dishes eligible for a 50% discount.
Despite having "Sushi" in it's name it does offer dishes other than sushi or sashimi. However their main highlights are sashimi/sushi. This is actually the first of three japanese restaurants that I will be introducing in the near future.

It is rather late in October to be doing this review, in hindsight I probably should have done this one first so that you folks have more time with their special promotion (ends 31st October). Better late than never I suppose. If you are in possession of a Citi Bank Credit card (Not sure if it's only for Platinum cards or all of them, will edit this post later once confirmed) and can find time to visit the before the end of October you will be able to take advantage of a 50% discount promotion.

After thought: Artur's

Artur's restaurant sits at the Bliston Suwam Park View Service Apartments in the Plernchit/Chitlom area very close to Central department store's Chitlom branch. If you like French cuisine I highly recommend this place for you to try out. Satisfaction garunteed. Before we go on further, please pardon my lack of photography skills. All photos are taken with my iPhone 4. These photos are not from the same visit.

Introductions

First things first, this has been a while coming. Friends and family have thought for a while that I should do something like this. Somewhere to keep track of the various culinary experiences that we've had and wanted to share with each other. Somewhere other than Facebook or Twitter, since most of the time it just becomes way too spammy when I do it on Facebook.

This blog is mainly going to be about restaurant reviews from an amateur-esque point of view. Most of them will be from Bangkok, however in the future I will include other restaurants I visit with my family while out of town or overseas.

First review should be done soon ( within a week or so at most).
